L4：講的是物理學射線，主要涉及電場和磁場，說為什麼研究射線的時候多研究電場而不是磁場呢，因為電磁場不分家的說

Speaking

 Task1：講的是你的朋友決定在進入大學之前離開校園去工作一年。談談利弊

 

 Task2：講的是你喜歡team sports還是個人活動？

 

 Task3：有學生寫信向學校抱怨為什麼不讓大一新生把車停學校。給了兩個理由，一個是他們可以出去找工作，有車方便很多。另一個是能夠常回家。

 

 Task4：一種E design。說很多equipments本來是為了讓工作效率更高，但是卻會帶來不好的結果。教授說了個自己的例子。

 

 Task5：倆人討論school dance。女孩說約好的band沒辦法在dance上表演了，把錢都退回來了。男生說，他們好出名的，很多人沖他們來的，怎麼辦。兩個解決方案。

 

 Task6：說人的記憶總是記不清details，叫memory gap。有兩種方式fill up the memory gap.

RT: 中東有種ancient people M，他們有自己的語言。

R1: 他們有 largebrain。

R2: 他們有bones protecting tongue nerves.

R3: 他們have the ability of breath control

 

LT: 聽力反對

L1: 大腦大不能說明問題，語言是由大腦中一個structure管的，但是文章並沒有體現出structure

L2:猴子也有tongue nerve 但是不會說話

L3: breath control 不一定是為了說話，可能是為了run a long distance,這對他們也很重要

ketstone species只有在數量少的時候才會被發現 一動物flap ship喚醒了公眾的作用 最後講到indicater species如海馬對環境變化非常敏感，還提到一些特徵

考古發現Ican人有用一個nikcup的東西並猜測其用途

一個男的要推薦信，因為要去西班牙，可是他的西班牙裔教授離開town

L3：Engineer  

用傳統眼光看grage很不好，影響飛機飛行，因為飛機是靠lift來飛的，但最近科學研究蜻蜓發現他就是用grage來飛的，優點有四倍浮力，直升機就是模仿蜻蜓，最後問老師對這的態度

 
L4：藝術史 

14世紀買家決定買畫的內容和材料，金色和藍色非常受歡迎因為象徵財富和社會地位，有題問顏料特色：貴卻不會褪色，後來人們喜歡黑色不想高調顯示自己財富，因此藍色顏料不在廣泛使用了。後來學徒與畫家一起畫畫，買家要求畫家至少要畫中心主要部份，意味人們不在炫富，其實只是換個方式

RT: Why bioluminescent mushroom produce light

R1: spreading of pores(light 在fruiting bodies的地方)

R2:  preventing predators(by attracting the predators that prey on mushroom-feed insects)

R3: get rid of harmful chemicals

LT: 聽力反對
L1: 有些lights不在那個body裡 級發光和存spore不是同一個部位

L2: 有研究表明蘑菇吸引到的predator很少，不足以吃完insects

L3: getting rid of harmful chemicals是本能，不然就會死，但有的蘑菇有發光有的卻沒有。甚至同一個species也是有些有，有些沒有，但大多數都活下來
