Lecture 1 - After the American Civil war, the people had more money. Films became popular and competed with legitimate theaters.
Lecture 2 - Senses - Animal senses. Animals can feel magnetic field (e.g. fly). Some senses, however, need to be trained.
Conversation 2 - The student asks the art teacher about his painting. His paint cracked because he first placed the fat/thick layer of paint before placing the thin layer.
Lecture 3 - Earth Science and three types of precipitation
Lecture 4 - Painting. Discusses old and new masters and even how impressionism affected the development of art.
