古希臘文明與自然關係 講古希臘精神文明和自然有關，尊重自然和宗教信仰有關，他們把神龕建在樹木植物多的地方。不僅古希臘人這樣，歐洲其他地方的人也有類似文化，與了歐洲人用樹作為神靈的例子。然後講了希臘人認為神真的存在，最後談到保護問題（有一題句子簡化題，與亞里斯多德和Golden age有關。
2. 彗星
先說comet不好預測驗，有的周期長，有的短，短的可以看見，然後二個圖介紹彗星結構（頭部有二個部份加tail），之後說彗星在地球周圍沒有尾巴，很小，接近太陽時就被磁場和太陽風弄得變大了，而且多了尾巴。然後對比long period comet和short的，一個軌道圓，和行星在一個平面，容易被other planet影響從而inner solar system，另一個橢圓，不在一個plane，最後一段講了哈雷彗星，76年一次，最後30次中國人都紀錄了，但17XX哈雷才認為這是一個彗星。
3. 冰川時期形成
講冰川時期的形成問題。開頭又是提出科學家發現在冰河世紀時的冰川廣泛。然後即使是在冰河世紀中也有多次消融和形成反復的現象。首先有一個大陸漂移理論來解釋。

Conversation 1
女學生要印500張海報，彩色印表機壞了送修，不過黑白的可以印，女學生說
OK。這個海報是preschool的workshop，因此也有found raising，很像是教授舉行的，是畢業的requirement之一。university
employee也有興趣，不過要$50元，他覺得有點貴，不過這$50是有包含$25的書錢就還好。等女學生要走，他跟女學生要了幾張海報。
Lecture 1
Computer Science
老師說舊的電腦科科技在於增快硬碟和CPU的速度，讓其powerful，但是新的科技重點是讓人覺得好用，因此在設計電腦時，在一開始應該就要考慮使用者的想法加以設計，但不代表說舊的電腦科技就不重要，他還是很重要。
Lecture 2 自行車的起源
講的是早期人力自行車的發展。有張圖，畫的那個兩個輪子的叫自行車！！人坐在上面兩個腳滑著走，腳蹬子都沒有。
文中提到二個人，一個是steam car發明家(鋪陳為什麼需要自行車)，第二個是自行車的發明家。早期的自行車在德國很流行，因為德國的道路很平；但在法國就不受歡迎，因為法國的道路不平，後來這個人就想辦法銷售，把自行車當做玩具來賣，但還是賣的不好，因為太大太沈了。但這個發明仍然促進了後來自行車的發明。
Conversation 2
女生找教授討論一個方法研究小朋友（與TPO一篇類似）， 她覺得這個方法好啊，教授想知道為什麼好，她說讓學生自己做主，遇到困難大家討論，這樣有兩個好處，一個學術上的，另一個是社會方面。
Lecture 3
biology
T 開頭的兩棲類動物，升始時說last class we
discussed，但是有女同學提問了，之後老師一直在講這個動物，此動物有以下特點：
好像有個骨頭在頭上，防止頭上下動，好像是跟他的呼吸系統有關，後來骨頭小了，這個動物頭部就可以上下動幼了。
長的像鰐魚，頭部是鰐魚（有題問，為什麼提到鰐魚）
還講到了這個動物怎麼從水裡到了陸地上面，因為水裡有很多細菌，細菌把氧氣吸收了，所以缺氧，所以就把頭伸出水面呼吸或者到陸地上。
還講到魚鰭變成前肢什麼的，但是不裡要。
Lecture 4
Literature
書的出版，要大量印刷書要經過兩種update，要不然之前的書都很貴。最後有提到工業革命約花15年對比書的革命花了三百年。

5 The man’s biology professor wants to do a presentation in New York and asked him to come. He wants to go but found out that that the department will only cover the cost of the hotel but not transportation fees.
